Please contact the developers of videocache for this problem. It was
their choice to create the software and their responsibility to maintain
it in the face of constant changes by the youtube developers.
Squid-2.7 introduced the store-URL feature which allowed direct cache
entry de-duplication in Squid of content from sites like YouTube. You
might want to try that instead.
