[squid-users] Squid terminates when my network goes down

I would like assistance in configuring squid 2.7 for Windows 7.

When my Internet connection goes down (my ethernet cable or my modem
gets disconnected), Squid terminates by itself. It is easy to restart
the service, but I can't help regretting that I lose my in-memory
cache and ip cache each time. Reviewing my log, I notice that exactly
one of the following two things happen. I would like advice on how to
prevent squid from shutting down.
