Hi,
I am using LVS for my squid cluster, I found that the 3 schedulers (dh,
lblc, lblcr) for squids didn't work properly. Instead I'm using wlc with a
360 second persistence. The persistence is there to keep clients 'attached'
to the same squid realserver primarily for https traffic, as https servers
don't like getting requests from different IP addresses.
I have been working pretty closely with Joseph Mack to adapt his config
files for a 3-Tier system such as squids, he has also been working on adding
provision for multiple directors and Heartbeat for director failover.
As far as the squids are concerned you don't have to make any changes to the
squid config files.
Cheers,
Jezz.
