[squid-users] to improve the execution of squid

Hi All

I have the machine Dell Power Edge 2450 and have 512 MB in RAM and 2 HD SCSI
of 9 GB.

I now have runing SQUID with WCCP, when the squid start, the navegation is
good, but afete of 4 hours the performace is slow, with the command top en
linux i see the memory and show the following:

Mem: 517032K av, 513848K used, 3184K free, 27264K shrd, 390684K buff
Swap: 779112K av, 0K used, 779112K free 36456K cached

I believe that is a problem of memory, o I need to do a tuning, the problem
es that i am novice and not found the error.
How can I to determine this problem?
