redirecting http requests with explicit ports

I've tried squidGuard and squidrm to no avail to redirect the following URL
http://www8.my-provider.com:81/ftp_icons/compressed.gif to a local URL
http://127.0.0.1/icons/compressed.gif.
The problem seems to be the port reference '81'. If I omit it and modify the
rules, I get the redirected request.
Did anybody have a similar problem and a solution for it?
