I'm running 2.2.STABLE2/3 on FreeBSD 3.2 without any problems. Do you
get a squid.core file in /usr/local/squid/cache1? If so, run
gdb /usr/local/squid/bin/squid /usr/local/squid/cache1/squid.core
type 'bt' and send me the output.
