And with Ssh you cannot surf the Web at all. Does it mean Ssh is buggy? The
"but it works with X" logic is faulty.

Apparently your browsers do not append Host: header or do something else
differently.

They have a buggy redirect!

If you need access to that site, send the webmaster an e-mail. After they
return back from vacations, it should take them 1 minute to fix the typo in
their redirection table.
