Don't be. BSD removed clause 3 from their license some many years ago
after some discussion with GPL folks and others, which resulted in the 3
clause BSD license normally seen today. You just happened to find a copy
originating from BSD before that date and still carrying the original 4
clause BSD license.
Checking... yes it was a general blanket license change on all BSD code
