I've been looking for a break in my schedule to work on fixing
the issues with Robert's stmem changes. The API is used and abused
in all the wrong ways right through the HTTP code.

I'm actually hoping, heh, that someone will fix it for me in
the meanwhile. There's a lot of other stuff I'd like to be working
on with squid-3 but this is the major showstopper for me.
(It, as an example, is a reason why range requests were broken
when I last looked at the codebase.)
