Re: [squid-users] Log rotation kills helpers

I had this problem, with kerberos authentication helpers.

I configured logrotate to rotate squid logs,

# cat /etc/logrotate.d/squid

/var/log/squid/*.log {
daily
rotate 7
compress
notifempty
sharedscripts
missingok
postrotate
/path/to/squid -k rotate
endscript
}

and at squid.conf

logfile_rotate 0

Then, no more troubles.
