Next try: compiling on a machine without any kerberos installation
(neither MIT nor Heimdal).

stopped with

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libcom_err.la' or
unhandled argument `/usr/lib/libcom_err.la'

That file is at least part of the heimdal packet.
