[squid-users] Address.cc: error: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules [-Werror=strict-aliasing]

I caved and installed gcc 4.7 in /usr/local/ and a pre-compiled openssl-1.0.0g pkg in /usr/local/ssl. I got the following error, when compiling squid-3.2.0.16-20120316-r11543 on OS X 10.7.3. Is this something that can be worked around without removing -Werror from Makefile(s)?
