[squid-users] trigger rediredt_url_program if there is a change in ip address

Hello All,

I want to use the redirect_url_program when there is a change ip address of my system.
Is it possible to detect the change in ip using squid proxy? Let me put in other words,
Can squid proxy communicate to any of the system applications, lets say a shell script?
