[squid-users] http tunnel HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden

i've just faced an error with an application i'm using.

i've set it to use a proxy and tried connecting to receive the following error :

why would it be forbidden, even though visiting the same link through a browser without an http tunnel works ok..

java.io.IOException: Error initializing HTTP tunnel connection:
HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden
