[squid-users] squid Tuning

Hii Everyone,
                       I am using squid 2.6 STABLE6-5. So I am using
squid authentication with AD with the help of helper program
squid_ldap_auth and squid_ldap_group for user based authentication . I
have very good hardware for the squid server it is having 16 cpus and 64
GB RAM.
So any one suggest me that how may users squid can support for this
particular hardware .
If any one is having any documentation for squid tuning/optimization
then please send me
