I have the same errors on

openSUSE 11.0 (X86-64)

Linux proxy 2.6.25.18-0.2-default #1 SMP 2008-10-21 16:30:26 +0200 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Squid Cache: Version 3.0.STABLE5

error messages:
assertion failed: helper.cc:495: "srv->deferred_requests"
assertion failed: helper.cc:1160: "srv->deferred_requests == 0"

i deactivated ntlm authentification and now there are no erorrs

is this bug fixed in a later release?
or should i downgrade to squid 2?

is there stil help needed?
