RE: [squid-users] Squid 2.6.STABLE1 invalid request

Is this how I apply this patch ?

 
cd squid-2.6.STABLE1
 patch -p1 <../squid-2.6.STABLE1-spaces.patch
 make clean
 make install

Known issue in 2.6.STABLE1. Patch available since some time back..

Alternatively a workaround is to use

always_direct allow all
