Hi,
New to squid and picking it up quickly. Based on my question, everything
points to squidGuard, but I'm not sure of the config to do this.
Anyways, here my situation. I have squid working on the local lan with
NTLM (Samba, joined to domain...etc). When someone browsing the web is
logged into the domain everything just works because it authenticated
them. When not logged into the domain it displays a popup asking for
login credentials. All very cool, but what I want now is instead of that
webpage popping up a webpage that allows them to register for access.
When I was in a hotel recently traveling, I connected to the wifi
network and got a proxy webpage that asked me to register for access.
Then the hotel approved it or whatnot.
I'd like the same. Any ideas on the actual config or can you point me to
a good resource for this.
Thanks in advance,
Nick
