Now I haven't seen the exact problem description, but here is some hints.
Are you using session cookies? If so, do you encode the client IP into
these? If you do this will cause problems for users in complex proxy
setups as the IP seen by amazon.com is likely to change between requests
depending on how the request got routed among the proxies.
