  As stated before : Cachemgr -> General runtime informarion
  can confirm this or not.

  Also there is another parameter called :
  
         Process file description allocation.

 Which will give more detailed info on fd usage.

 If you need to increase the number of available fd´s then check
 the squid FAQ on how to do this.
