[squid-users] squid failed. The error was: init_cache_dir

Hi All,
Im running FC3 and have squid built into this distro. Anyway, when
trying to start it in the service manager, i get this message.
> squid failed. The error was: init_cache_dir /var/spool/squid... Starting squid: [FAILED]

Im not sure what im meant to do, in /var/spool/squid the permissions are 777

Please advise.
