To help you out on this, just start your squid binary
as,

./squid -NCd10

What you are getting out there.

1. You have configured cache_effective_user and
cache_effective_group as squid

2. Change all permissions under var/log directory
squid to squid:squid

3. Su to squid and startup squid as ./squid -NCd10

Post the full messages you are getting to list (Don't
add user names again and again.)
