From what I can tell everything looked correctly set up.
Try building Squid again, and make sure you start from a clean source
tree. And triple check that the Squid binary you run really is the one you
built. To make sure you can edit the VERSION string in the configure
script before you build Squid to include a subversion uniquely identifying
your Squid.
