I was under the impression that a proxy server would help the speed of my
internet a little by caching some portions of pages. I probably missed a
setting in the squid.conf.
I went to a site that has a movie right on the home page, .mov, about 10MB,
after loading it I quit the browser and reload the page and it takes the
same amount of time to load.
I checked this with apache as my cache engine again and it worked as
expected. Second time it was much much faster.
Any idea which setting I am missing on squid?
Thanks
