Can you please try upgrading to 2.5.STABLE7. There has been quite a bit of
changes in this area since 2.5.STABLE5.

This indicates a bug in the version you are using. I hope this bug has
been fixed in the later versions but I am not sure (has not seen the exact
bug).
What seems to be the case is that the web server responded with a response
before the transfer of the request completed. Squid is meant to handle
such situations gracefully.
