Hello Squid Users,

The Squid developers is currently preparing a Squid-2.5.STABLE7 release
but it still needs a little more testing before getting a STABLE approval
stamp. To aid in this we would be thankful if some of you could test the
current nigtly snapshot releases of Squid-2.5 in a controlled manner,
especially in areas changed by the current patches.

For information about what has changed since 2.5.STABLE6 see

   Squid-2.5.STABLE6 patches
   <url:http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.5/bugs/#STABLE6>

Please report any problems found to our bug database

   Squid Bugs <url:http://www.squid-cache.org/bugs/>

and any success stories to

   Squid Developers <squid-dev@squid-cache.org>

For information on how to report bugs if a problem is found in your
testing see

   Squid FAQ 11.19 Sending in Squid bug reports
   <url:http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-11.html#ss11.19>

   Squid FAQ 11.20 Debugging Squid
   <url:http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-11.html#ss11.20>

Please try to include the information requested in the above documents in
your bug reports as applicable. Especially important is to get a stack
trace on crashes or fatal errors where your Squid terminates.

If you own or otherwise know of an existing bug report you consider
important to have fixed before Squid-2.5.STABLE7 is released please leave
a note saying so in the bug report in question.

For questions regarding installation, upgrading or configuring please use
the mailinglist. If unsure if your problem is a bug or a configuration
error ask here on the mailinglist first.

Regards
Henrik
