Hi there,
I am having a major problem getting Squid to authenticate from an ldap
server.
I have compiled squid to use ldap auth as a basic helper, and I get the
following error message, after I have typed in a username and password.
Command typed:
/usr/local/squid/libexec/squid_ldap_auth -b dc=manline,dc=co,dc=za
192.168.1.1
Error:
squid_ldap_auth: sasl.c:83: ldap_sasl_bind: Assertion `ld != ((void *)0)'
failed.
Aborted
I have searched and searched for anyone else with the same error as this,
and I can't find anything anywhere.
I am using
openldap-2.2.13
Slackware 10
squid-2.5.STABLE6-20040719
I have tried compiling openldap with the following parameters.
env CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/include/db4" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib"
./configure --without-cyrus-sasl --without-kerberos --disable-kpasswd --disa
ble-spasswd --enable-crypt
I have also tried it --with-cyrus-sasl
With cyrus-sasl-2.1.19
Thanks in advance!
