Yuck... this is NOT what the CONNECT method of HTTP proxies are
intended to be used for.. But if it fails after you have given
CONNECT permission to the port in question it is almost certainly
either the application or the servers fault, not the proxy.
To see where the problem is you need to perform a packet level network
trace, analyzing the application protocol.
I would recommend contacting the application vendor (i.e. IBM).
