Neither of these are HTTP protocols. Squid is a HTTP proxy.

Only by using a HTTP client such as a web browser configured to use a
HTTP proxy for FTP.
Neither of the above mentioned applications use FTP.

Open your web browser. Go to the proxy settings screen. Enter the
address of your Squid server in the proxy field. Open a ftp:// URL in
the browser.
