[squid-users] squid on freebsd

Hi,

I apologise if I ask the same question again, but I've tried to search on
archive without any luck.

I have a Squid running on FreeBSD 4.6.2 (compiled from its port).
The performance is okay, there seems no problem but when I check the
cache.log it's totally different.
I do understand the Squid little bit, but to see the log I give up.

idnsCheckQueue: ID 557: giving up after 58 tries and 302.5 seconds

Is there any website that explains about Squid's errors?
