[squid-users] squid with linux or freeBSD?

Hallo.
I have to install a proxy server in a lan with about more than 600 clients to
access internet.
I want to use squid.
My doubt is: is better to use squid with linux or with freeBSD?
The server is an IBM xSeries machine dual processor with 1Gb ram and 3 hard
disks scsi in raid 5 hardware.
