[squid-users] squid exiting with errors

Hey all,

squid-2.4.STABLE7-2mdk

Very suddenly this morning squid has started crashing due to not enough
redirectors. The redirectors themselves are exiting with signal 6. I'll
include a snippet or two of logs that might help.

this context?

CPU utilization pegs now anytime I try to direct any traffic to squid
since this has started happening. I've also noticed that everything in
access.log is a TCP_MISS and has been for at least the last week (I
didn't go back further for a look). This doesn't sound right but I don't
know if it's related to the current problem.
