Guys
I am experimenting with the no_cache parameter.
This is what I have in squid.conf:
acl QUERY urlpath_regex cgi-bin \?
acl QUERY url_regex http://whatis.techtarget.com/
no_cache deny QUERY
This should deny any cacheable objects from whatis.com and any URLs with
cgi-bin in its pathname (for example)
How can I check this works?
I am using:
find . -exec grep -l "http://whatis.techtarget.com/" {} \; 2> /dev/null
in the cache directory to see what is actually cached.
The results appear to be the same before and after the squid changes.
(The squid cache was cleaned after the first run, btw)
Oh, and is there any easy way to clean the cache when I'm testing
instead of reformatting the cache partition or recompiling squid.
Best Regards
Pali
