[squid-users] RE: access logs not rotating ...

I recommend using logrotate and logrotate.conf. My config (for access.log)
looks like this:

# system-specific logs may be also be configured here.
/usr/local/squid/var/logs/access.log {
   daily
   dateext
   nocreate
   postrotate
        /usr/local/squid/bin/squid -k rotate
        /usr/local/share/scripts/squidlog_mv.sh
   endscript
}

Where squidlog_mv.sh does this:

mv /usr/local/squid/var/logs/access.log-20* /usr/local/share/logs/

my access.log is not rotating (it's up to 118,000,000 bytes) ... and i
haven't a clue where to find the answer to the problem (i want the logs to
rotate daily) ....
