Hi,
I'm just wondering how Squid handles multiple identical requests with
very small time intervals from users on a LAN.
If 5 users on a LAN make identical requests within a 2 second time
interval. Say the requested object is not in the cache.
Does Squid make 5 requests to the origin server one after the other
(since it is only a short interval, say the object from the first
request would not yet be cached)? or does Squid make one request and
wait until the response has been cached and serve the other requests
from the cache???
thanks
Bilal
