Should perhaps comment on this to clarify that for sufficiently large
caches the performance difference between different replacement
policies are negliable.
For smaller caches like the in-memory cache different policies can
make a difference, but unfortunately the in-memory cache of Squid is
quite broken irregardless of replacement policy so the effect there
isn't as big as it could be..
