Hi everyone!
I have the following problem:
My local network is served from a NT 4 domain controller.
I have setup a squid-2.5 on a RedHat 7.2
Everything works fine but I would like to have more information at the
logs of squid.
Squid logs the IP of the of the clients but this does not help me since
IP addresses are assigned dynamically and its more important to know the
domain user that made a request rather than the IP address.
So I need to have in the logs also the username with which the user is
logged in the Domain when he/she makes the request.
I tried msnt_auth, it works fine but I don't want the users to be
prompted for username and password.
Is there any way to get the username of the client in the squid logs
without any prompt ?
Thanx :-)
