Yup, that did it :-) Using the '-h' option as a workaround. Many thanks.
However, I'm still stumped as to how it worked before! All I did was tar
up the old squid directory, rebuild the system, untar the directory,
recompiled squid and installed it (the current live squid.conf file
remains untouched of course), and that was it. Hmm, maybe I didn't test
the remote access bit when I originally installed 2.5; perhaps it never
worked but I never realised. Weird.
