My guess is that you have nothing to worry about. If everything works
the way it should then your OS should have put that memory for use as
filesystem buffers. Having spare unused memory is just a big waste.
This is certainly true for a Linux box. A Linux box running and actually
doing anything since it rebooted should have no more than about 4-8MB of
free memory as reported by top or free. The rest is put into valuable
use by the system.
