 Most probably, the error you are seeing is not related to Squid at all.
 Hence your statement that squid is running fine.

 The message comes from the underlying file system software and
 is a status code returned when squid is trying to do some
 file related operation.

 Issues arise such as :

    - what underlying filesystem type is being used on the cache
partition ?
    - if advanced,such as reiserfs, are you using an appropriate version
      with respect to your os version

 The specific message seems to be related to
 the msgsnd(2) and msgrcv(2) system calls, but that is not very helpfull
 in this case.
