Re: [squid-users] urlParse: Illegal character in hostname 'proxy.mydomain.com:8080p roxy.mydomain.com'

Last time the question came up the source of these requests was
identified to some kind of malicious software. I don't remember if it
was a virus or a spyware. See the squid-users archives.

The best way to prevent it is to get the offending client(s) cleaned
up. You should see the IP address in access.log.
