No. Squid caches on the requested host name, and to avoid cache
pollution it does not trust that the IP address used by the client is
a valid IP address for the requested site.

What you can and should do if you are running a transparent proxy is
to make sure the two uses the same DNS server.

If you are not running a transparent proxy then all DNS resolving is
forced to Squid. The client won't care to look up DNS data in such
configuration.
