[squid-users] start with ---> squid -N

Hi,to all
 
When start our squid with -N switch our linux hang.
But without -N switch squid service is start.
At this situation how I sure that our squid is correctly start, and why
I can not see our client list in my cachemgr when as if in client
browser set proxy on ip of squid I see them but the client can not go
internet, do this cause for that mysquid transparency is not work, when
as I set it with in squid.conf?
 
What do you advise me?
