This is up to the browser the user is using. Ask the vendor of the web
browser being used when your users read their email.
To Squid the user authenticates on each and every request. HTTP does
not have anything like a "session" or "logout".
I guess these users are using MS Outlook or MS Outlook Express for
reading their email? If so then it MAY help if they have a MS IE
window open...
