[squid-users] proxy-only

Hello,

I was reading the FAQ about making squid proxy-only without caching
(http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-4.html#ss4.20)
and it tells to set the cache variable to:
cache_dir null /null
but when I start squid, it complains that "null" is an invalid type and
exits. Was this feature removed (stable6)?
Any other suggestions (except from no_cache deny all)??
