[squid-users] connection error !!!

I have following output

[ar1 squid]# netstat -a | grep squid
tcp 0 0 *:squid *:* LISTEN

[ar1 squid]# netstat -an | grep 3128
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:3128 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

#######BUT###### when i run the client

[ar1 squid]# client -r http://www.google.com
client: ERROR: Cannot connect to localhost:3128: Connection refused

Help is appreciated.
