You could use the always_direct directive for localhost, or any other
server you want.

Dear List,
I have installed Squid 2.4 Stable 5 on RHL 7.2 with PAM
authentication. All that is working fine. Now I have setup a local
site on the same PC.
Problem is that for accessing that local site squid is asking for
authentication, which i do not want. What I have to configure such
that for Internet only it would ask for authentication where as local
site would access directly.
