Aah, thank you for the answer and i will bother you with another question :)
what if i want one proxy1 to check with proxy2 for an object but not the
other way around ? i dont want proxy nr2 to check with proxy1 because there
is a slow x-line :o) i want proxy2 to work as usual.
proxy1 ----->(slow x-line)----> proxy2 ----> Internet
do i just disable icp on proxy1 ?

The two needs to be siblings, and to support ICP.
The definition of a sibling is "get the object from there if it has a copy".
To tell if a cache has a copy of the object ICP is required.
