i tried to install glib from OpenBSD 2.9...but that does not work
either....well, then i'll just go to BSD 2.9 instead for the time being !

Your samba installation is for another version of OpenBSD it seems..
It does not find a version of libc matching what it was compiled for.
nmblookup is one of the utilities making Samba.
