Well, IMHO you must run the NAT task on the equipment the lowest
solicited... It is just for me a "politics" point of view but I prefer run
NAT on some hard/dedicated stuff rather than on the firewall level. IMHO fw
rulez and activity must be minimized and depending on your actual Internet
bandwidth this can overload your FW run NAT over PP stream.
=> If your FW is not too much solicited this can be acceptable... But I
prefer use of dedicated hard to handle this consuming task.
How big is your Internet connection ? can you, please, keep me up2date with
your test ?
